You've felt something settle in a sound bath. Maybe you've even picked up a bowl yourself, played a little, noticed something shift. But underneath, there's a thought you don't say out loud: I'm dabbling. I don't fully know what I'm doing with this yet.
You want sound to be something real, brought in on purpose, with understanding underneath it.
People settle in front of you. Before the first sound, you guide them to truly land in their bodies, in your own words. Your voice is steady. You play your bowl with presence, and you feel what it does, in yourself and in the room.
You notice when someone goes quiet, when the room softens, when something needs to change. And you know how to respond.

Embodied Sounds Level 1 is a four-week online training in The Embodied Sounds Method®, the same foundation we teach in our in-person Intensive.
Here, everything comes together in the sound meditation. You learn to play your instrument with real presence, understand what sound is doing in the nervous system and the body, and guide a sound meditation from beginning to end.
Embodiment is our framework. You learn sound through your own body first, so you can guide it in others.
Your own body is your first instrument. When you can feel a sound land in your own breath and body, you can feel when it lands in someone else's.
Grounded in how sound actually works in the nervous system, explained in plain language.
You feel it in your own body first, so your understanding lives in you, not just in your head.
You learn to hold space safely, with care for every person in the room.
A framework you make your own, so you guide in your own way and your own words.
"Just a few hums and I can immediately feel a shift."Julia Milan · Level 1 graduate
"It seems less scary now. Just be present, aware, and keep things simple."Wendy · Level 1 graduate
You already work with people in some way, and you know sound could deepen what you do. You want to bring it in properly, with understanding underneath it.
You've played a little, here and there, and you're ready to really understand what you're doing, and own it.
You felt something shift in a sound bath and want to understand why. You'd love to start somewhere grounded, taught properly.
Four live sessions with Joy & Eddie build your foundation. The library is yours for life, and keeps it growing.

90 minutes each, live on Zoom. All recorded, so you can always watch back.
Ten instruments, each with how to play it, troubleshooting, what it does in the body, and how to use it.
Tibetan singing bowls · frosted crystal bowls · clear alchemy crystal bowls · handpan · tongue drum · tuning fork · shamanic drum · gong · chimes · sound effects
Watch complete sessions, then hear exactly what we did, when, and why. The thinking behind every choice.
Complete, written-out scripts, so the words are already there when you need them.
Simple grounding and self-regulation practices with your bowl and your voice, yours to keep.
On what to buy, and what to skip, so you spend on the right instruments.

Guide a sound meditation from beginning to end, with The Embodied Sounds Method® underneath it.
Help people truly land in their bodies before the first sound, using somatic language.
Play your bowls with confidence and real presence.
Understand what each instrument does in the body, in plain language.
Read the room, and adjust the sound when it's needed.
Use your voice and your bowl to regulate your own nervous system, every day.
You learn the Somatic Landing: how to use somatic language to help people truly arrive in their bodies before you play, so the sound has somewhere to land.
"The most important thing was the Somatic Language, the importance of a proper Somatic Landing before starting with sound."Julia Milan
"I wanted to learn more about the instruments, their effects, combinations, and improve my sound baths."
"I changed the landing at the beginning of my sound baths, taking more time to let everybody land, and I can see and feel the impact on the people."
"I'm watching and observing the room more to see how everyone is doing, adjusting the sound when it's needed."
"It was really outstanding, and it has already changed my sound baths and my confidence in giving them."
"I left with a genuine sense of deep safety in holding space, something that felt embodied, not just understood in my head."
Elisa"Joy gave us a framework, so we have the tools to really make it our own practice. So grateful for that."
Wendy"I've taken many trainings before and even co-taught some myself, I didn't expect to draw so many new things out of this one."
Elisa"I feel much more confident on how to guide people in and out now. I also found more 'my' way to guide them."

I trained in dance, then musical theatre, always singing, and yet I was terrified to truly be heard. I was performing sound, from the neck up. Not from my body. It took me a long time to stop performing it and start feeling it.
I built this so you don't have to find your steadiness the slow, lonely way I did.
Everything in Embodied Sounds is the foundation I wish someone had handed me at the start, taught gently, with the science underneath it.
Professional singer, dancer and yoga teacher. Joy brings the embodied, somatic heart of the work: how sound is felt, and how to hold space with warmth.
Professional drummer, Conservatory-trained percussionist and meditation teacher. Eddie brings the music and the brain science: why sound does what it does.
The feeling and the framework, the soul and the science. That's the whole point of Embodied Sounds.

Certified by Yoga Alliance YACEPThat's exactly who this works for. If you already know how to hold a room, sound becomes another instrument in the work you're already doing, woven into a class or a session.
Yes. You don't need to have played an instrument before. Everything is taught from the first step.
Not at all. This is about feeling sound and working with it. No background needed, only the genuine wish to go deeper.
That's exactly what the framework is for. You'll learn to stay grounded and hold space safely if something feels big, while staying clear that you're a sound practitioner, not a therapist.
Every session is recorded with lifetime access. We'd love you live, but you'll never miss the content.
No. You begin with a single bowl. We guide you personally on what to add, when, and why.
Level 1 teaches the same Embodied Sounds Method®, focused on sound meditation. It's the perfect foundation if you'd like to go on to the full training.
Four live sessions, a library for life, and a circle of people who care about doing this work properly.
