A science-backed, somatic training that turns instinct into real understanding, so you can lead a full session with genuine confidence.
Begin June 9th
You've felt something settle in a sound bath, maybe you've even picked up a bowl yourself, played a little, noticed something shift. But underneath, there's a thought you don't say out loud: I'm dabbling. I don't fully know what I'm doing with this yet.
You don't want sound to stay a nice extra you're unsure about. You want it to be something real, brought in on purpose, with understanding underneath it.
That's the difference between adding sound, and actually working with it.
Sound you don't just hear, you feel it move through your body.
That's what we mean by somatic. It's the difference between a lovely sound bath and something that genuinely shifts how a body feels. Everything here is built around that one idea, and you'll feel it for yourself from the very first week.
Embodied Sounds Level 1 is a four-week online training that takes you from "I've felt this" to "I can hold this." You'll learn to play your instrument with real presence, and understand what sound is doing in the nervous system and the body.
You'll get The Embodied Sounds Method® for guiding a session from beginning to end, so you're never improvising in the dark. By the end, you'll have led your first real sound meditation, and you'll know this path is yours.
The Embodied Sounds Method® is our own framework, developed over years of facilitating sessions and training practitioners, that integrates sound, the nervous system, somatic awareness, and your own voice into one living practice. It's not about playing the right notes. It's about understanding what sound is doing inside you so you can consciously guide it in others. This is where you become someone who truly understands sound, from the inside out.
You already work with people in some way, and you know sound could deepen what you do. You want to bring it in properly, not as a nervous experiment.
You've played a little, here and there, and you're ready to stop guessing. You want to actually understand what you're doing, and own it.
You felt something shift in a sound bath and want to understand why. You're newer to all this, and you'd love to start somewhere grounded, taught properly.
Before holding space for anyone, you learn to settle into your own body, because a room feels what the person leading it feels. Your instrument comes into your hands, and you create vibration you can actually feel.
How sound moves through the nervous system, why it reaches where words can't, explained simply. This is the week it clicks, and you stop second-guessing yourself.
A clear, simple structure for guiding a session start to finish: how to begin, hold the middle, close, and leave room for what comes up. You start holding space on purpose.
You take the framework and make it your own, a practice that feels like you, not a script you're copying. You leave with a daily practice, a certificate, and clarity on what comes next.
The four weeks get you started. The library means you never run out of ground to stand on.

Not just "here's how to hold it." For each instrument, the full picture, so you know what you're doing, and why.
Watch complete sound sessions start to finish, then hear exactly what we did, when, and why. The thinking behind every choice, not just the playing.
Complete, written-out scripts, so when you think "I know how to do this now, but what do I actually say?", the words are already there.
Lifetime access. Come back to all of it, whenever you need it.
The ability to play your bowls with confidence and genuine presence.
Your first complete sound session, led before the training ends.
A simple framework for guiding a session, so you never feel you're winging it.
A plain-language understanding of how sound works in the body.
Simple ways to ground and steady yourself, before and during a session.
The settled confidence of someone who knows what they're holding.
"I left with a genuine sense of deep safety in holding space, something that felt embodied, not just understood in my head."
"It seems less scary now. Just be present, aware, and keep things simple. We learned the tools, and all feelings are okay."
"I led a session in which I felt more stable and secure than ever. A game changer for anyone working with sound."
"Joy gave us a framework, so we have the tools to really make it our own practice. So grateful for that."
"Such positive, gentle, caring energy. An amazing and educational course, I'd recommend it to every sound healer."
"I've taken many trainings before and even co-taught some myself, I didn't expect to draw so many new things out of this one."
I trained in dance, then musical theatre, always singing, and yet I was terrified to truly be heard. I was performing sound, from the neck up. Not from my body. It took me a long time to stop performing it and start feeling it.
I built this so you don't have to find your steadiness the slow, lonely way I did.
Everything in Embodied Sounds is the foundation I wish someone had handed me at the start, taught gently, with the science underneath it.
Joy · co-founder, Sound Healing School
This training holds both the feeling and the science because it comes from two people who each live one side of it. We've led thousands of sessions together, and built this method side by side.
Musician, dancer and yoga teacher. Joy brings the embodied, somatic heart of the work, how sound is felt, how to hold space with warmth, how to help a body let go.
Eddie studied at the Conservatory, focused on percussion and the relationship between music and the brain. He brings the structure underneath the soul, why sound does what it does.
The feeling and the framework, the soul and the science. That's the whole point of Embodied Sounds.
Everything you need for a real foundation in sound. No hidden costs.
Or spread it over two months, 2 × €260
Our promise. Join the first live session. If you don't feel a shift in how you relate to sound, you get a full refund. This first round is an intentionally small group, so everyone gets real attention.
That's exactly who this works for. If you already know how to hold a room, sound becomes another instrument in the work you're already doing, woven into a class or a session, rather than bolted on.
Yes. You don't need to have played an instrument or held a session before. Everything is taught from the first step, so you're never thrown in the deep end.
Not at all. This isn't about musicality or performance. It's about feeling sound and working with it. No background needed, only the genuine wish to go deeper.
This is often the worry that holds you back from bringing sound into real client work, and it's exactly what the framework is for. You'll learn to stay grounded and hold space safely if something feels big, while staying clear that you're a sound facilitator, not a therapist.
Every session is recorded with lifetime access. We'd love you live, but you'll never miss the content.
No. You begin with a single bowl. We guide you personally on what to add, when, and why, so you never spend on the wrong things.
Four Tuesdays, a framework that's truly yours, and a circle of people who care about doing this work properly. The start of something real.
